When you own a small apartment and feel confused how to design and decorate it. It is the time for you to look at this post. This post taken from the work of Allarts - Design is amazing for your apartment.
This lovely one-rooom apartment in Perm, Russia might not be too tiny but it it still finds some smart new ways to work around the lack of square footage. The apartment was crafted to meet the needs of a business woman who spends most of her time traveling across Europe. Located on the 22nd floor and clad in brick walls, the idea here was to create a chic hangout with a touch of Scandinavian beauty.
White-washed brick walls along with a red brick-clad entrance give the apartment a unique backdrop with plenty of textural beauty. Instead of using small partitions and unnecessary walls, the large room is divided into the living area, bedroom and kitchen using glass partitions, sheer curtains and a subtle demarcation of space.
A standalone TV unit allows you to catch the action from both the living area and the bedroom, which are separated from one another using just drapes. The bedroom looks like a gorgeous glass box with a gallery wall above the headboard, and colorful bedding gives it a distinct identity. Decor is kept simple and minimal throughout the house, with accent additions bringing in some color.

A semi-submerged resort project planed for a projected marine area Qata
Designed by the Italian architectural firm GZDG (Giancarlo Zema Design Group, Amphibious 1000 is a semi-submerged resort project planed for a projected marine area on the coast of Qata.
The resort will be divided into two sections of land and sea and will feature residential buildings as well, offices, a central marine park, floating waterways and underwater marine galleries that all form a semi circle around a central tower that will host a panoramic restaurant.
The resort would be like a large aquatic creature that stretches right into the sea with the sea section featuring semi emerged hotels resembling anchored superyachts. Each of these hotels will have 75 luxury suites positioned around the perimeter of the building with access to private terraces and underwater passageways with views of the central marine park that connect the hotel rooms.
The main lobby of the resort will be focused around an interactive sea life museum featuring water exhibitions galleries, large aquariums and a glass passageway leading to the underwater observatory. Guests could travel around the resort in electric vehicles or could jump on board of one of the 20 meter aluminum yachts with hydrogen engines and underwater viewing globes.
Amphibious 1000 will also feature 80 floating suites called “Jelly-fish” with underwater viewing decks looking upon an artificial reef bed. A relaxation room will sit at the very top of the suite at 5.6 meters above sea levels and at 3.5 meters above sea levels the sleeping quarters and bathrooms will be. At 1.4 meters the area is for daytime use with a kitchen and bathroom and heading below deck and semi submerged at 0.8 above sea level the guest rooms and bathrooms will be. At 3 meters below sea level guests could enjoy their own private aquarium lounge.

Fabulous hobbit house in Wales
Basically this is the dream house for a Lord of the Rings fan and it seems that dreams can turn into reality with some ambition. Simon Dale showed us all that sometimes you don’t need to be an architect to come up with a nice idea, if you have the necessary imagination.
He designed a very comfortable, environment-friendly home (it doesn’t impact the surroundings at all). The investment was around £3,000 and Simon received help from his friends and father-in-law. He picked the perfect spot for his house. There is a nearby forest-from which he used some materials(this isn’t unusual for Welsh designers). He chose local oak for the surface of the house, the walls and the foundations were made from stone and mud and Simon made an interesting choice for the floor, roof and walls. He insulated them with straw bales.
The main difficulty was to build a house that revolves around a system that relies on alternative energy sources-but Simon managed to win this challenge too, since his home is now naturally lit. As we step inside the house, we can notice some peculiar details. The walls are made of lime plaster-it’s a wiser decision if you come to think of it since lime plaster has a lower energy footprint compared with cement.
Everything inside-the windows, the plumbing, flooring, finishings etc was built from discarded scrap materials-unbelievable, but true. The heating system is actually a wood burner and the refrigerator is maintained cool with the use of an innovative system-basically the system pipes cool air from underground-and this keeps the refrigerator cool.
Since the hobbit house lies near the woodlands the water comes from a nearby spring. Electricity is brought to Simon’s house with the use of solar panels. The sun beams provide the small home with natural light during the day time. The house itself is a testimony of ambition. You don’t need to have special training or qualifications to make this happen. And you also don’t need a stack of money to live in comfort.
